These days it's not just the seaside resort that attracts tourists who have been traveling here since 1854. Thirty seven million odd visitors discover this year-round destination for its entertainment, history, outdoor fun and special events.

Stroll along the world famous Boardwalk (in existence since 1870), then take a ride in one of the ever popular rolling chairs that came on the scene back in 1887.
there are lots of restaurants (Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe and Official All-Star Cafe), Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum and the perennial souvenir shops with t-shirts, salt water taffy, postcards and various trinkets. Further on is the Atlantic City Historical Museum on Garden Pier where you'll relive history with the Boardwalk Ballyhoo video, photographs and memorabilia, most notably Mr. Peanut and crowns and capes of former Miss Americas.
For the outdoor fans nature is ready for you with activities galore - go camping, hiking, canoeing or kayaking. It's all available at local, state and national parks.
