NEW TRAVELING COMPANIONS ARE SIMPLY LUSHOUS

By Pamela A. Campbell

I recently made a new acquaintance and being a friendly traveler I'd like to introduce you to my new traveling companions, LUSH handmade products.

Once you get past the funny sounding names (some of them are actually quite hilarious) you'll begin to appreciate how "LUSHOUS" these freshly made bath, body and facial gems can be and help to banish the blahs and spice up your life.

I had a test run on a recent trip with some selections I thought would travel well, and they all deserve a standing ovation for a job well done, so here's the scoop on my favorites:

BATH BOMBS - I used a different one every night to match my mood. (just toss them into a warm bath, sit back and enjoy!)

Butterball - This little guy leaves you silky soft and smelling utterly delightful. Why? Your body absorbs the natural cocoa butter, Yiang Yiang oil and vanilla.

Waving not Drowning - Definitely save this one for the end of a LONG day. The oils work like magic to lull you to sleep quickly (cardamom, lavender and fennel).

Fizzy o'Therapy - After a hectic day outdoors, this champion comes to the rescue with its warming ingredients (mustard and ginger powder, and clove, cinnamon and coriander oil).

BUBBLE BAR SLICES

Floating Island - An exotic name for the exotic scents gently released with the bubbles that float around you. Love that almond, sandalwood and lemon oil feeling!

SOLID SHAMPOO

Gentle Lentil - It lathers very easily and smells great too. It gently cleanses and is non-irritating, and long lasting.

CONDITIONERS

Okra - Here is help for tired hair. I tried it because the name was intriguing, but coating your hair with balsamic vinegar, nettle infusion and rosemary oil sounds good too. And yes, it leaves hair soft, smooth, thick and shiny.

DRAUGHT OF IMMORTALITY

This multi-purpose product is a great space-saver for travelers. I used it as an eye-makeup remover, skin cleanser and a moisturizer. It's loaded with Jojoba oil, so there's no need to worry about skin irritation or dry skin. (I'm still using it).

LIP SERVICE

Once you've tried this on your kissers, you'll be a fan for life. The apricot kernel oil creates "Lushous" lips (by increasing circulation) and tasty lips (tangerine oil). Yummy! It works wonders on cuticles too, try it!

ANGELS ON BARE SKIN

The "bare look" will be "in" this summer with this gentle face wash and exfoliator (would you believe ground almonds, rose and lavender?)

I've saved the best for last, because they are really exciting finds.

First, the massage bar, BEWITCHED. I declare this a national TREASURE in my books! Massage oil from a bar? Cedarwood, chamomile and violet leaf, I'm glad LUSH got you 'Bewitched' because now "I'm taken." (I'm told the smooth texture makes it a pleasurable job!)

PIED de PEPPER is the next best thing to walking around in comfy bedroom slippers all day. A day or night on the town will have your tootsies yearning for relief and this is it!

SILKY UNDERWEAR

Soft and smooth as the name implies, dusting powder has made a comeback for me. Powdered cocoa butter moisturizes while the jasmine and gardenia scented powder tempts you to dust all over - from shoulders to toes.
