If you think traveling is no longer fun, we’ve got news for you. It is……. if you have a Cabin Cuddler.
That’s the nifty blanket that Jim Levings, pilot-turned innovator/designer has patented so that we can wrap ourselves in fleecy comfort anytime, anywhere.
Forget the rush to board the plane hoping you can snag the last blanket. These days they are no longer available on some flights, and on the rare occasion that they are, they are not exactly in pristine condition.
There are no gadgets to assemble, just spread the blanket over the seat, sit down and settle into the foot pocket, then wrap the blanket across your torso and eat, drink, read or sleep like a baby.
It’s a nifty carry-on as it’s encased in a fitted cylinder-shaped tote that easily attaches to a backpack or camera case with a strap. When it’s folded up it can be a great head, back or foot rest.
We traveled with the Cabin Cuddler around Greece (flying and cruising) and it toured Brazil as well. On both occasions it was a welcome source of comfort during those lengthy trans-Continental flights and lately to Mexico .
The super-sized blanket is large enough for a six-foot adult, but a scaled down version is also designed for kids. The color selection features aquamarine, blue, black, cranberry, mint green and periwinkle for adults, and the latter two are available for children.
At US$34.95 (adults) and US$24.95 (kids), they are the perfect all occasion gifts for travelers on the go.
The Cabin Cuddler can be ordered by telephone (1-800-788-5770) or online at www.cabincuddler.com
